Stella Tooth

Stella Tooth is a commissionable London-based portrait and performer artist who collaborates in storytelling with those she portrays to capture of a life lived up to this moment - or the excitement of performing live.

She brings individual stories to life in drawings, mixed media, digital and oil paintings. And, as an ex journalist and broadcast news pr, she can tell your stories in words.

Portraits can mark special moments in a person’s history and are a daily reminder on the wall of who the sitter is and where they belong.

Performer art can bring your personal enjoyment of music, comedy, dance or circus acts to your home with the same attention you give to your playlists, record collection, or ringside seat! As Resident Artist at the legendary music venue the Half Moon Putney, Stella has portrayed old hands like T’pau and Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason, as well as up and coming.

Winner of the Judges’ Prize as Egypt’s first art biennale, Stella has exhibited with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and the Milan Expo (2015). A member of the Lots Road Group of portraitists, she has taught drawing tutor at the National Portrait Gallery and V&A, and now teaches at Open Ealing.
