Carol Edgar Collection

I am a visual artist living and working in South East London. I usually paint with acrylics and my subject matter is varied although I have a particular focus on landscapes and seascapes. My semi abstract paintings are mostly inspired by my experience of both the drama of the Cumbrian countryside and the beauty of the Cornish coastline. My work is rarely representative of specific places, more a response to memories of atmospheres, formations, textures and constantly shifting light and shade in those surroundings that have inspired me.
