Carus Thompson rose to fame in the 2000s as part of the Australian Roots movement. He toured with Jack Johnson, Dave Mathews and Damien Rice, and had three tours opening for folk star Seth Lakeman in the UK. In Australia, FORTE magazine called his latest album ISLAND “a welcome return from Australia’s answer to Bruce Springsteen”. I capture the extraordinary way he plays guitar.
