Linda Jenkins

Linda is an artist who works in mixed media. Her degree is in Fine Art which is when she first discovered her love of printmaking. Over the years, and with the luxury of having her own studio, she has evolved a unique and exciting method of creating artworks that she describes as Memoryscapes. These artworks are inspired by places travelled and the colours, textures, feelings and moods remembered and half-remembered. Linda’s process is intuitive and experimental, a response to the “flow”.

Linda loves to play with collagraph, lino and monotype, as well as acrylic inks, watercolours, embroidery, machine stitch, and collage to create these evocative artworks that suggest mysterious places.

Much of Linda’s process involves arranging and rearranging, experimenting with different juxtapositions until a resolution appears that her intuition senses is a finished piece – a Memoryscape.
