Jungle Floral by Helen Trevisiol Duff

With Helen's love of colour this painting celebrates the joy of seeing budgerigars in the wild. Her first pet was a budgie which escaped and flew free when her family were cleaning its cage. Her father had brought it home as a surprise and a week later it flew out of the window to a new life. Always a favourite species, Helen has created a painting with these colourful animated birds sitting amongst the jungle foliage, chatting away without a care in the world.

Mixed media; watercolour and gouache on Arches watercolour paper 300gsm. Mounted.
