Harnessing material transformations, artworks arise filled with secrecy and dynamism. Inviting the realisation that is glass a wonderfully tactile, robust and enduring material. Inspirations from the natural world collide, sometimes abstracted, sometimes organic. The perception of movement is created within the glass, a whirl of gases, sediment in a river caught in a current, or trapped like fossils in rocks. Pushing the limits of the material’s relationships informs my practise. Recent works are inspired by the European Space Agency’s CHEOPS, and Cluster missions.
The EXOPLANET series has been launched, and continues through the cosmos.
