Many who meditate will practice each morning focusing on a calm centre. In this piece the empty space is the centre, where everything is leading, towards the one. I think this piece & Zen relate to each other, almost like inhaling and exhaling.

Embossed mixed media, acrylic and 24k gold leaf on 600gsm cotton paper. Float mounted in a lime-waxed ash box frame.
