Originally making his name as part of explosion of the Australian Roots movement in the 2000s, Carus Thompson is a first class songwriter. He’s toured with Jack Johnson, Dave Mathews and Damien Rice. In the UK it was his 3 tours opening for folk star Seth Lakeman that put him on the map.  In Australia, FORTE magazine called his latest album ISLAND “a welcome return from Australia’s answer to Bruce Springsteen”.
