A plein air pencil and watercolour painting of Primrose Hill, captured on a sunny day early last summer.   
   One of London's most beloved viewpoints, Primrose Hill offers spectacular panoramic views across the capital, taking in iconic landmarks such as The Shard and St Paul's Cathedral.
   But this picturesque spot has a colourful past. Once part of a medieval royal hunting ground and ancient forest, it has witnessed deadly duels and illegal prize fights.
   Today, it's a much more peaceful setting, surrounded by pastel-coloured Victorian and Georgian townhouses, charming boutiques and cosy cafés, with Regent's Canal and London Zoo just beyond the park.
