Oxo Tower, Southbank London by David Richardson

A plein air pencil and watercolour painting of the Art Deco Oxo Tower on London’s South Bank. The tower famously incorporated the OXO logo into its windows as circles and crosses, cleverly bypassing the ban at the time of skyline advertising.

   Today, the wharf is home to design, arts and crafts shops and galleries. Nearby sits a small sandy beach and jetties which offer visitors a delightful riverside viewpoints, revealing the changing vista of yet more of London’s fascinating riverside treats.
