Natural History Museum, London by David Richardson

I climbed high above the vast exhibition hall, where the skeleton of the magnificent blue whale, Hope, hung suspended, stretching almost the entire length of the hall in this incredible Victorian museum. Perched on the balcony, the view was breath-taking, my gaze meandering down to the ground floor where people appeared so tiny below.

Visitors hurried from one viewpoint to the next, quickly snapping photos and recording videos on their mobile phones, sometimes without even pausing to really look. It made me reflect on how fortunate we are to have such a beautiful building, filled with endless wonders to explore and appreciate.
