Embossed collage with 24k gold leaf on Somerset paper 350 gsm float-mounted in a lime-waxed ash box frame with glass.

A ring of gold is embellished on the bright textured green, singing out its hopeful message. I chose the colour of spring leaves to symbolise fresh new beginnings.

The golden circle is a reminder of the cycles of life.

I think this piece holds a poignant message for difficult times. There is always hope!
