Heidi Swedberg and Daniel Ward mixed media portrait by Stella Tooth

Heidi, born in Hawaii, got her first ukulele at age 5 for Easter. She's been performing for 30+ years, including the role of "Susan" on Seinfeld. Daniel Ward, known for Latin & world styles, was introduced to the ukulele by Heidi. I saw them at Half Moon Putney, where I'm a Resident Artist and sought to capture their, and their bassist's relationship with their instruments.
