Don't Mess with Me! by Diana Mckinnon

An original textile embroidery.

This fox reminds me of the ones who dare to stare me out in my garden. His eyes follow you and he's not giving in!

I cut small pieces of patterned fabric  and use the variety of colours to grade the fox's fur. Many different coloured threads are free machined over these fabric pieces to imitate the direction of the fur. 

Embroidery: H 24cm; W 18cm.
Frame: H 32cm; W 26cm.
Weight framed: 330g
