TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT
1) COOKIES
When you visit our website a small amount of data is collected and saved by the web browser you are using – these are called Cookies. They allow us to give you the best browsing experience and help us to understand which parts of the site you find most interesting, as well as recognising you each time you visit our site. We do not use cookies for advertising purposes and never pass your data onto any other organisations.

When someone visits www.skylarkgalleries.com, google analytics collects standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour i.e. country where you’re visiting from and/or which web pages you found most interesting. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
3) SUBSCRIBING TO OUR EMAIL LIST
If you’re on our mailing list it’s because either you’ve filled in a form on our website to say you’d like to subscribe to receive news from us or you filled in a card or iPad sign up form in our galleries or at an art fair. We do not share your email address with anyone else.
If you no longer wish to receive our emails, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of our emails or by sending an email directly to us at info@skylarkgalleries.com.
When you sign up online, the information goes directly to our subscription list on Mailchimp. When we want to send you news and offers, we use a secure service provided by Mailchimp to send you news on our behalf. 4) BUYING AN ARTWORK FROM US

We are a collective of artists operating under the umbrella of Skylark Galleries Ltd and as such we are a bit different from most websites. There are no middle men or women taking a cut, with Skylark you are buying directly from the artists!
If you choose to buy something from one of our artists you will EITHER
- be taken to the online shop run by Skylark Galleries OR
- be taken to the web shop of the individual artist to process the sale OR
- you can contact us via email to enquire whether the artwork/ artworks seen on the website or on our social media are still available to purchase. In the case of such sales we accept payment by bank transfer but not cheques.

For payments made on Skylark Galleries web shop or via email enquiries
The order information we collect is stored securely and only used for the purpose of getting you the correct items as quickly and efficiently as possible.
We collect the following information:

- Postal Address and if different, the billing address.

- Contact Phone Number (Optional)
- Purchase Information

They all comply with the new data protection regulations, so you can rest assured that your information is private and secure at all times. Shopify and Paypal
Shopify is a world class e-commerce platform and it’s the one we use for our online gallery artists at www.skylarkgalleries.com When you place an order with any of those artists Shopify processes your order and links up with our payment processor ‘Paypal Pro’ to securely receive your payment.

InXpress / Royal Mail
When Shopify has accepted your order and the payment has gone through, we are ready to dispatch your artwork. For UK Mainland addresses we will either use a Royal Mail signed for service, or DHL Express signed for service, depending on the size and value of your order. For overseas addresses our site is securely linked to InXpress Courier service. This calculates the best method of shipping for your order.
