Ed J Bucknall


The vibrant city of London and The River Thames is a constant source of inspiration for Ed’s art. He enjoys painting and sketching around London and capturing the ever-changing skyline.

As well as an artist and an architect, Ed is also a licensed mudlark and uses a mixture of mediums to create unique and exciting art on reclaimed marble slabs that he finds on the Thames shoreline. 

Ed has exhibited in several London galleries and some of his images have appeared in print publications. His career as an architect is evident in his drawings and paintings of buildings and landscapes. He has also has been successful with commissions.

Recent exhibitions include two solo shows at The Brunel Gallery, Rotherhithe and group shows at: The Bargehouse, The Fitzrovia Gallery, Candid Arts Trust, Camden Image Gallery, Leyden Gallery, The Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane and the Nolias Gallery.

He is also running monthly architectural drawing workshops with ‘London Drawing’
