Victoria Palace Theatre, London by David Richardson

A plein air pencil, ink and watercolour painting.
What caught my eye was the contrast between the intricate stonework of this Edwardian theatre and the futuristic buildings towering around it. Almost lost in a sea of concrete and glass monoliths, this historic gem seemed a reminder of another era, dwarfed by the modern city rising up around it.
