The Phantoms, from West London's Feltham, formed in 2000. At their debut gig, they hastily played covers, but weren't boo-ed offstage. Drawing inspiration from the greats of the past, the three members (pictured) take turns as lead singer, I imagined the main singer of The Phantoms here becoming transparent as he channeled the past.

Pencil on cradled gesso panel. Strung.
