My vivid autobiographical oil painting revisits my childhood, stirring fond memories in the viewer. I depict a ferry journey back to Britain from my first trip to Italy with my family when I was six.  I'm here flanked by my Italian Godfather and his son who accompanied us. Perhaps you remember the days of headscarves and sling-backs as worn by the women sitting in the background?
