Eryka Isaak Collection

From my Brockley studio, I create glass sculptures, inspired by oceans and space, as well as line and block. I use many recycled materials, including glass, copper and aluminium.
EXOPLANETS Influenced by my astronomer father and sister, a series of EXOPLANETS has arisen. As composition is yet unknown in reality, I’m making discs, with colours and textures governed by heat and atmosphere.
TABLE SCULPTURES Movement of organisms and sediment in running water inspire my practice to encapsulate this motion within glass, like fossils in rock. Slumped, fused glass is my canvas.
