Mimosa is the is the flower was chosen to celebrate International Womens Day on 8th March.  This tradition was first established in Italy in 1946 and now has cultural significance across the world.  The flower represents sensitivity, warmth and hope.  In that post war world, the Mimosa was a tribute to the women whose resilience and inner strength enabled them to adapt to the challenges of global upheaval.

I paint use the traditional Japanese brushes with black Sumi and coloured mineral inks on fine Washi paper.   The chop placed below the signature means Painting Brings Peace.
