Clivia by Judy Head

Clivia - also known as Natal Lily -  came from South Africa. 

These big, orange clusters of flowers appear anytime from February through to May and are a very welcome site at the end of a long cold winter. 

I paint use the traditional Japanese brushes with black Sumi and coloured mineral inks on Washi paper, made from bark.   The chop placed below the signature means Purity.
