My giraffe is made of offcuts of Kaffe Fassett fabrics. Pieces are cut and collaged then freemotion machine embroidery is used to suggest the features and texture of the skin. Looped wool creates the mane. The giraffe is mounted onto recycled furnishing fabric which is then wrapped round a canvas frame.
