Hank Wangford is a doctor, songwriter, and English C&W artist. He and his band toured with Billy Bragg & the Frank Chickens in '84/'85. In '84, Hank met ex-Byrds member Gram Parsons who introduced him to country music. His on stage rapport with Spanner inspired this oil portrait.
