Filigrana 'One' by Michael Frank

Filigrano 'One' is inspired by Man Ray's Rayographs and Coburn's Vortograaph series. This small body of work is an ongoing experimentation of the boundaries of photography this time not in a physical darkroom but in the digital realm. 

My photographic training and studies started in 1980 and I was very much involved with black and white printing and manipulation.  Photographers like Man Ray with his Rayographs experimentation and Coburn with his series called Vortograph caught my attention.
