Bees and Blossom by Judy Head

In the Spring of 2025, whilst cycling to my studio on the river, I rode past a tree that was full of spring blossoms and bees.  I took photographs and painted this piece during the summer months.

I paint use the traditional Japanese brushes with black Sumi and coloured mineral inks on Washi paper, made from Mulberry leaves.   The chop placed below the signature means Dancing Brush

Framed Dimensions: 58.0 cm x 36.0cm.  Framed in natural Ash.
