London Craft Week 2025

May 12, 2025

London craft wee, ceramic art, textile art

London Craft Week Monday 12 - Sunday 18 May

Celebrating outstanding British and international creativity all across the capital.

Skylark is showing beautiful ceramics and textile art as part of London Craft Week. Come along to Gabriel's Wharf and the Oxo Tower to visit our cultural quarter on the South Bank.

Meet the artist - Sunday 18 May is a chance to meet Gillian Brett, sculptor, who will be in the gallery 11am - 6pm

Inspired by life, Gillian's sculptures aim to capture something universal about being human: a gesture, an emotion, a moment of stillness or power.

"I work from life, sculpting real people in the space with me. I work fast, sketching in clay, without measurement. This results in textures that feel more alive to me than a perfect reproduction."

Gillian creates work for exhibitions as well as private and public commissions.
Her sculptures have been featured in Wales Contemporary, ING Discerning Eye and the Affordable Art Fair London.

'Lydia' Stoneware ceramic, unique, £300.
