Fforest moonjar by Jonquil Cook

This hand built and wheel thrown vase is made from white stoneware clay and decorated with hand-carved sgraffito work. I use no template or stencil in creating my relief surface designs, each piece is unique as I work entirely free-hand. Glazed a soft, opaque white inside, with a transparent Chun glaze covering the exterior, the object is completely watertight and will be an elegant and beautiful addition to any interior, either as a vessel for floral displays or as a stand-alone art piece.
