  • Connect the computer to the LAN port of the TP-link with the Ethernet cable.
  • Assign the Static IP address manually on the computer.

  • Left-click the options Start->Control Panel->Network and Internet->Network and Sharing Center->Change Adapter Settings.

  • Now, you can set the static IP address as 192.168.1x if your Static IP address is 192.168.0.254.
  • Open any web browser, type the IP Address of the extender, and press the Enter button.
  • Type the username and password in the respective fields.
  • The default username and password are an admin. Click the OK option after entering the credentials.
  • The above IP settings are meant for login for the web-based interface of TP-Link for configuration.
