Built between 1714 and 1723, St Mary-le-Strand stands on the newly pedestrianised Strand, its recent renovation finally revealed with the scaffolding removed.\u003cbr\u003e   I sketched from the seating area opposite, including King’s College London and a quirky set of old buildings attached. A constant hive of busy students passed by.
