Skylark Galleries artist exhibiting new original artwork in aid of Sketch for Survival

Helen Trevisiol Duff one of our wildlife artists at Skylark Galleries, is exhibiting a new original artwork at gallery@oxo from 17 – 28 November to raise funds for Sketch for Survival and the charity Explorers Against Extinction.

Helen is one of the invitational artists in the core collection of this touring and online auction.
Helen was invited to participate following her painting of a huge mural of the endangered red-crowned cranes in Hanwell Zoo in London.  She is also involved with other conservation charities.
Last year the painting Helen donated raised £550 in the online auction, which was one of the highest bids online.

Let’s spread the word and support this worthwhile charity this year. ‘Sketch for Survival’ is a global art initiative in aid of conservation.

Helen says, “We are supporting 21 small projects in 2021 – many of these have been impacted by the Covid pandemic and economic downturn.”

100 Finalists – from worldwide selection

The new original artwork above will be exhibited at gallery@oxo alongside the Invitational Collection, of which Helen is one of the artists. It is Helen’s fourth year supporting the charity and she is showing a new custom watercolour of the endangered Cape Penguins. All the artworks will be sold via online auction on 28 November.

The annual collection of original artworks for sale is donated by professional and celebrity artists. The collection celebrates the beauty and colour of the natural world whilst raising awareness of the threats facing it – including those posed by human activity.
Diverse artworks, from oils and watercolours to sketches and street art, exclusively feature endangered species and at-risk wild spaces. All artwork donated to ‘Sketch for Survival’ is available to purchase either through the charity’s annual online fundraising auction, or from its online or pop-up Affordable Art Gallery. ALL PROCEEDS support the charity’s projects.
