The latest artist to join Skylark Galleries art collective is Helen Trevisol Duff who has a passion for the iconic Liberty of London… savouring the textiles, furnishings and architecture.
When she first started working in the West End as a fashion designer in the 80’s, she would take a walk down Argyll street in her lunch break and take in the window displays, sparkling lights and exquisite flowers outside the front door. Entering into an emporium of colour and texture with amazing scarves, jewellery and bags, she was like a magpie. Her first purchase was a set of recycled glasses she still uses today and a gorgeous Betty Jackson jacket.
Her love of Liberty and London in general has been the focus for her paintings and she’s delighted to be exhibiting these original watercolours at Skylark Galleries 1 and will be on duty to greet you every second Sunday.
